Khatra Paterson is the founder and clinical director of Hale Private Clinic and KP Aesthetics, with over 37 years in nursing and a specialist in aesthetics and minor surgery. She has been recognised with multiple industry awards, including Inspirational Person of the Year (2019), Nurse of the Year (2022), and the Diane Oxberry Special Impact Award (2023). Known for her patient-first approach and advocacy for safety and regulation, Khatra has scaled her clinic from a single treatment room into a hospital-standard multidisciplinary hub.
In 2017 I started with one treatment room and 46 patients. Today, Hale Private Clinic is a hospital‑standard multidisciplinary hub — but the lessons I learned along the way weren’t always easy.
