Delivery Policy
For customers in Great Britain (GB)
We endeavour to provide a next working day delivery service for orders placed by 14:00 pm on a working day Monday to Friday for customers in Great Britain (for customer in the Scottish Highland and Islands it will normally take a little longer) (GB)*. For clarity, any orders placed on a Friday will be for Monday delivery. During busy periods and due to Covid-19 working practices your orders may sometimes take a little longer to process and may take up to 3-5 working days.
The cost of delivery will vary depending on the value of the order. Details of the costs can be found in the summary of delivery cost table in this document.
*GB in this context refers to customers in Great Britain with a delivery addresses in England, Scotland or Wales. For the Scottish Highlands & Islands the courier services we use do not provide a next day service, the post codes relating to these areas are detailed elsewhere in this document. Also, as the costs for delivery are higher for the Scottish Highlands & islands than other areas of GB the delivery costs may differ from these other areas. For customers in Northern Ireland (NI) – including information relating to Brexit
The delivery service to NI is normally 2-5 days. Due to Brexit and the end of the transition period there is now a requirement to complete customs documentation and declarations when we deliver products to you. This will be completed on your behalf by the courier. The costs relating to this have increased and unfortunately, we have had to reflect this in our delivery charges for NI, details of which can be found in summary of delivery cost table in this document.
VAT: Standard rate VAT (20%) is applicable to and included in the delivery charges for customers in the UK (GB and Northern Ireland).
Channel Islands
If you are ordering from the Channel Islands, it will be at least a 2-day delivery service from the date of despatch. VAT is not charged on deliveries or any delivery charges to the Channel Islands. The delivery costs relating to the Channel Islands can be found in the summary of delivery cost table in this document.
The Republic of Ireland – including information relating to Brexit
The delivery service to Ireland is normally 2-5 days. Due to Brexit and the end of the transition period there is now a requirement to complete customs documentation and declarations when we deliver products to you. This will be completed on your behalf by the courier. The costs relating to this have increased and unfortunately, we have had to reflect this in our delivery charges for Ireland, details of which can be found in summary of delivery cost table in this document.
VAT is not charged on deliveries or any delivery charges we make to customers in Ireland. However due to Brexit and the end of the transition period there will now be a requirement for the customer to have to manage the implications of import VAT for a purchase from a non-EEA country. The courier will contact you by email and / or SMS text when your order is in Ireland and will advise of any VAT that needs to be paid to the Irish Revenue. The courier will provide a secure payment method for you to do this. The courier will also charge you a service fee in relation to this. Payment of the VAT and the service fee to the courier will normally be required before they will delivery your order.
